Monty was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather. He had a huge heart and his wonderful personality shone through. Anyone that ever met Monty only had kind words to say about him. His big laugh and sense of humour made his presence felt wherever he was. Monty’s kindness and generosity was loved by all, and he was always polite and grateful to anyone that did anything for him.
Monty sadly passed away aged 85 on 27th August under the care of Michael Sobell house. The hospice was a wonderful place for him to spend his last few days and the care and kindness of the staff there, and the ability for his family members to stay by his side day and night will remain a comfort to us all.
